Hangklip Silkypuff
Diastella thymelaeoides subsp. meridiana, known as the Hangklip silkypuff, is a rare, upright, 1m tall fynbos shrub endemic to the Kogelberg and Hangklip area of South Africa. It features olive-green, hairy leaves and 20mm wide white-to-pink flower heads with a yellow center, peaking from August to November. It is fire-adapted and ant-dispersed.
