Information

Wild rosemary (Eng.), wilderoosmaryn, kapokbos (Afr.)

Used in sachets, pot pourris and cooking. Medicinal uses for coughs and colds, flatulence, colic, diuretic and diaphoretic. Good for skin, hair and bathing.

Flowers attract lots of bees. After flowering, fruits are formed with fluffy seed heads that look like cotton wool or snow. Hence kapokbos.
