Information
Golden Sorrel, Sandsuring. This species differs from Dimorphotheca nudicaulis var. nudicaulis in having narrow, grass-like leaves.
Stemless geophyte, bulbs are large and gummy. Flowers are bright yellow and borne singly; after flowering the flower stem arches over to bring the developing seeds near to the ground. Sandy flats and lower slopes.
