Bract Disa, African weed-orchid
Disa bracteata, commonly known as the South African weed orchid or leek orchid, is a highly invasive tuberous perennial native to South Africa that has naturalized in Australia. Growing 15–50 cm tall, it features a dense, cylindrical spike of 20–60 small, greenish-maroon flowers that appear from September to November.
