Information

Mountain Puffbush, blouaarbossie (Afr.)

The Saw-tooth powderpuff or false selago is a like a fynbos padstal for insects. It has magnificent mauve blooms that attract butterflies and a host of other insects. The flowers are constantly buzzing with life. Pseudoselago serrata have been observed in the Reserve, Red River Valley and both sides of the Rockjumper (smallholding) Road.

Afr. blouaarbossie.

It is a rewarding and hardy garden plant. If you can get hold of it, buy it and plant it. You won’t be sorry.
