CENTELLA TRILOBA
Three-lobe Cape-purslane (Eng.) | Varkoortjies (Afr.)
INTRODUCTION
You will find the three-lobe Cape
purslane sprawling over rocks “near the sea”. That means high up on
Klein-Hangklip as well where we found this slightly succulent plant when
sitting down for a tea break.
DESCRIPTION
The broad wedge-shaped leaves are
dentate with up to 9 teeth and you might see the tiny greenish flowers from
August to April.
Status: Least Concern
